The Gqeberha side has also partnered with the Madibaz High Performance Centre at Nelson Mandela University to bring in holistic training as opposed to just net sessions. "We are grateful to the HPC at Madibaz for providing us with such a great service." Moodley said. "We have been using their gym facilities as the wider variety of equipment and scientific apparatus that they have available for our use enhances our preseason training. We have also added visual skills training again, which we started last year, and I think that has benefitted our batsman a great deal."

"Eastern Province strength and conditioning specialist Runeshan Moodley believes the squad's work at the Madibaz High Performance Centre will add another dimension to their preseason cricket preparations. Moodley, who also held a similar position for the defunct Warriors, feels the addition of scientific elements is allowing them to further home in on all areas of their game. Moodley said visual skills testing was one aspect that was new to their training. We are constantly looking to improve on certain areas of our game, whether it be just one or two percent; big thanks to Madibaz HPC for welcoming us."
